EPS provide solutions for many Utilities on bespoke and challenging projects. Often these projects are the result of the increasing demand placed on the grid to support the transition of power generation away from oil and gas towards renewable energy. We continue to support many Utilities on R&D projects to find solutions to these complex power problems.

A key piece of equipment required for the efficient distribution of electricity is medium voltage (MV) switchgear, enablinh the power to be used at a desired location and distributed at a more local level. As the EPS Mag-Latch actuator mechanism is a zero maintenance and robust component, it adds greater durability to VCB switchgear products which are used heavily in the utility sector.

As our customers around the world expand their product range to meet the demand they see in their own markets, they engage with EPS in research, development of new circuit breakers and the customisation and production of bespoke magnetic actuators from the EPS Mag-Latch actuator range, to complement and enhance their own product range to meet the growing challenges of the market.
