Mag~Latch
EPS offers a range of Mag~Latch mechanisms suitable for operating the majority of Medium Voltage Switchgear circuit breakers. The ML class mechanism is widely used throughout the world with more than 100,000 installations.

MEC1 Controller
The MEC 1 controller has been developed to maximise the performance of the modern day switchgear MV circuit breaker. Onboard communication allows the user to adjust operating times, monitor performance operate and report the performance of the equipment. This can be done online of local to the equipment.
Starvac
The Starvac Auto Recloser is the only “True Solid Dielectric” auto recloser in the market today. The patented technology ensures that no dielectric stress is apparent across any gaseous or liquid dielectric medium. By removing the dielectric stresses in theses areas there is no risk of dielectric failure that leads to arcing and subsequent explosions.

Design
EPS provides a bespoke design service for the Medium Voltage Switchgear manufacturer. EPS utilises Solidworks Premium CAD software which enables excellent translation capabilities to convert CAD files into our customers native CAD system.
Finite Element Analysis tools and motion analyses tools enable our designers to model and virtual test our clients designs prior to building prototypes.
Prototype Manufacture
Unlike our competitors who rely on outsourcing prototype manufacture, EPS has extensive prototype manufacturing workshop, equipped with CAD CAM links to CNC machining centres. This means rapid prototyping and more importantly maintenance of client confidentiality on sensitive R&D projects.
Consultancy
Our experience in insulation materials, manufacturing technologies and applications means EPS is able to provide up to date consultancy and advise service. This has included facility design, product portfolio advice, technical reports, feasibility studies and quality procedures. EPS has a global network of technical experts available to pool resources in a cost effective manner.
Manufacturing
EPS has a facility equipped with CNC machines, lathes, millers and general tool room equipment to enable manufacture of many types of components.
As a registered ISO 9000 manufacturer EPS has supplied precision engineered components for the oil industry, motor industry as well as the electrical power industry.
Manufacture of moulding tools for client projects from p20 tool steels as well as rapid prototype manufacture is regularly carried out in-house at EPS.
